About
LightForm, Inc.
LightForm was founded in 1996, by Jeremy Lerner, to develop and sell
Hyperspectral Imaging instrumentation to life science researchers.
LightForm won three NIH, SBIR grants, that dramatically propelled the development cycle that effectively removed the “small company pitfall” of shipping instruments before the development cycle was completed. PARISS was formally introduced to the market in 1998 at the Pittsburgh Conference.
To get a flavor of Jeremy’s twenty-five year background in the successful development of commercial diffractive and spectroscopic instruments and devices, click the following link to perform a Google search. (This link should work; but if not, go to scholar.google.com and search
on the name “Jeremy Lerner” (omit the quotes).)
All citations that include diffraction gratings, neural networks, holography, diffusers, bar code readers; and anything to do with spectroscopy are relevant. The few references with names other than “J.M. or Jeremy Lerner” are not.
PARISS users have presented many papers in the refereed journals,
